Coast Guard Rescues Father And Son In Delaware Bay

 

Slaughter Beach — Coast Guard officials received a report at about 9 p.m. Sunday evening from a 911 dispatcher stating that a father and son were overdue after the men went boating near Cedar Creek Boat Ramp earlier Sunday afternoon. Coast Guard units from Delaware and New Jersey, joined by several Delaware agencies, searched for more than seven hours before locating the pair.

At about 4 a.m. the Coast Guard reported that they had located the two men aboard a disabled 20-foot recreational boat.

No injuries were reported
