Governor Orders Flags At Half-Staff For Patriot Day

Sunday, September 11, 2016, marks the 15-year anniversary of the 9/11 Halfstaffterrorist attacks. In observance of Patriot Day and National Day of Service, the President has ordered American flags at all government buildings and facilities be flown at half-staff.

In concurrence with the President’s Order and in remembrance of the victims who lost their lives on that day, Governor Markell has ordered the American and Delaware flags at state buildings and facilities be flown at half-staff beginning this afternoon until the start of business on Monday, September 12.
