Store Clerk Robbed At Knifepoint

Felton – The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery of a south Felton area gas station that occurred early this morning, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

susp01Fournier said that the robbery occurred Monday September 26, 2016 at approximately 3:50 a.m.  A knife wielding suspect confronted a Uncle Willies store employee demanding money from the register, according to Fournier.

 

The employee quickly fled from behind the counter and into a back room as the suspect removed money from a safe.  The suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction.  The male victim was uninjured in the incident.

The suspect was described as a white male, 5’10” tall, wearing a grey sweatshirt and sweatpants, black gloves, and a mask covering his face (No further physical or clothing description available) armed with a knife.
