Trooper Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Wanted Subject
Lewes – State Police are requesting assistance in locating Rick Welch, 24 of Lewes, who is wanted for Assault 2nd and Breech of Release, according to a statement released by Delaware State Police.
Authorities said that Welch is wanted in connection with an incident that occurred on Sunday January 22, 2017 around 11:00 p.m. when he allegedly struck a 27-year-old female victim in the face with a closed fist while riding in a vehicle near Lewes.
If anyone has any information in reference to Rick Welch’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact Troop 7 at 302-644-5020. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
