Morning Accident Knocks The “H” Out Of Woman’s Car

New Castle – At approximately 8:53 a.m. this morning Delaware State Police and fire crews from the Wilmington Manor Fire Company responded to an accident on South Dupont Highway near Second Avenue.
Arriving crews found a woman inside her vehicle suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was transported to the hospital by Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance.

No other vehicle was in the immediate area so its not clear how the woman sustained the damage to her vehicle. Troopers were talking to a tractor trailer driver on scene but it’s not clear if he was involved in the accident.
