Woman Found Dead On Lewes Beach

Lewes – Lewes police announced that a 69-year-old white female was found unresponsive and without a pulse on Lewes Beach, on Thursday, June 1. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced her deceased, according to Lewes Police Chief Thomas Spell.

Spell said the woman’s body was turned over to the State Medical Examiner’s Office. At this time, the death appears natural, pending an autopsy, said Spell.

No signs of foul play or suspected drug activity are believed to be involved, added Spell.
