Arriving units found a homeowner and her neighbor trying to put out an electrical fire that started in the crawl space under the home. The fire was brought under control by a crew of 15 firefighters shortly after their arrival. The fire was contained to a small area of the crawl space under the bathroom floor.

Officials with the Office of the State Fire Marshal have estimated the loss to the home at $5,000.
