Wilmington – Fire crews from the Wilmington Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of N. Broom Street for reports of a single family dwelling on fire. Arriving units found heavy fire showing. Command quickly determined that it was a mutli-family dwelling and called for a 4th engine and a 2nd ladder.
Fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control. It was unclear if the neighboring residence received any damage from the fire.
