Middletown – Fire crews from Port Penn, supported by crews from around New Castle County have been called to the 300 blk of Thorntown Road for a house fire.

An off-duty firefighter has called New Castle County dispatch to report fire showing from a single story single family home.

Arriving crews are in the home knocking down the blaze.
