Milford- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a multi-vehicle crash which occurred this afternoon on SR 1 northbound south of Milford, according to Public Information Sergeant Richard D. Bratz.
Bratz said the investigation thus far has determined that the crash occurred today, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at approximately 3:10 p.m., on SR 1 northbound in the area of Slaughterneck Road. The crash involves a small vehicle and a chicken truck. Injuries have been reported in the crash, however, the exact number and extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
All lanes are currently closes in the area of the crash to traffic and commuters are asked to find alternate routes of travel.

Milford – Rescue crews from Sussex County are on scene of a vehicle accident reportedly involving a car under a tractor-trailer. No word on injuries at this point.
Traffic is heavy on Route 1 between Road 220 and the First State Produce Stand.
