Crash Injures Two In Newark, Mutual Aid Unit Covers Accident

Newark – Crews from Cranston Heights Fire Company, covering for Aetna, Hose Hook and Ladder, along with Rescue 8 responded to an accident in Brookside yesterday.

Arriving crews found two vehicles involved, a moving truck and a Chrysler 300, with two patients in need of assistance. Ambulance crews from Aetna treated the two patients before transporting them to Christina Hospital.

Cranston Heights was covering Newark while Aetna and units from the Christiana Fire Company were working to remove a vehicle from a barber shop at Apple and South Main in Newark.
