Delaware Shelter Expecting 13 Dogs Displaced By Hurricane Harvey

File

Georgetown – The Brandywine Valley SPCA Georgetown Campus is expecting 13 dogs displaced by Hurricane Harvey on Saturday, according to spokeswoman Linda Torelli.

Torelli said the dogs are part of a 43-animal intake to the organization and the first of what’s expected to be several intakes of shelter animals from Texas and Louisiana.

Taking in animals from the effected region will help to make space for local displaced pets stay in their community so their families can find them, according to Torelli.
