Troopers Investigate Body Found At I-95 Travel Center

Newark – Delaware State Police are currently on scene at the I-95 Travel Center conducting a death investigation. Just before 4:00 pm yesterday, Friday October 13, 2017, rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company responded to the parking lot of the Delaware House Travel Plaza for reports of a patient having a heart attack.

Arriving crews quickly determined that the patient was deceased.

Reports from the scene indicate that the body, which is inside a vehicle, had been there for sometime. State Police have cordoned off the vehicle and are investigating the scene.

An employee that was near the scene said that he did not see any drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
