Newark Police Seeking Assistance In Identifying This Man

Newark – Early this morning, Sunday, October 29, 2017, at approximately 12:21 a.m. the Newark Police responded to the unit block of East Main Street for a report of an Unlawful Sexual Contact, according to Sergeant Gerald J. Bryda.

A 28-year-old female from Wilmington was in the area of a food cart when an unknown white man allegedly forcibly grabbed her on the buttocks from behind, pushing her into the food cart, according to Bryda. The suspect left the area on foot and may have grabbed another unknown person, added Bryda.

The suspect is described as a white male, early 20’s, wearing tan cargo shorts, a long sleeve pale orange shirt, with black and white shoes.

Newark Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
