Oldtimer Charged With First Degree Robbery In Dover

Dover – The Dover Police Department arrested Roce Barlow, 76, for the robbery that occurred at Royal Farms on Saturday morning, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said Barlow was identified by detectives after reviewing video surveillance, and was later contacted by police during a loitering complaint in the downtown Dover area. Barlow was arrested without incident and committed to JTVCC in default of $10,000 secured bond on a single count of First Degree Robbery.

Barlow is suspected of committing the robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at 5:01 a.m. a at Royal Farms located at 293 S. Saulsbury Road. In that robbery a black male suspect entered the business and displayed a handgun, demanding cash, according to Hoffman.  The suspect fled the store in an undisclosed amount of cash in a black Toyota Camry with a female driver, added Hoffman.
