Update: Driver Injured After Slamming Into Guardrail On I-95

Update: A Woman traveling around 50 to 60 mph on I-95 lost control and struck two guardrails this morning. As she lost control and hit the guardrails her vehicle’s airbag deployed. New Castle County Paramedics (NCCP) responding to another scene came upon the crash and called for assistance from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder. Ambulance crews transported the woman to Christina Hospital. No trauma alert was issued.

Delaware State Police are currently on scene investigating.

Newark – Rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, New Castle County Paramedics (NCCP) and Delaware State Police are responding to I-95 SB at South College Ave (Route 896) for reports of a vehicle into a guardrail.

NCCP Medic on scene is advising that one patient is injured.
