Happening Now: Vehicle Strikes Deer On I-95, Reports Two Trapped

Newark – Crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police are responding to I-95 at Route 273 for reports of a vehicle crash with entrapment.

Responding units are reporting that the vehicle struck a deer and two people are unable to remove themselves from the vehicle.

Reports from the scene are sketchy. It’s believed that the two occupants were helped from the vehicle by arriving firefighters and they were transported to Christiana Hospital.
