Minquadale – New Castle County Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the community of Arbor Place Townhouses.
This morning, December 28, at approximately 12:50, New Castle County Patrol Officers were dispatched to the unit block of Parma Avenue for the report of a shots fired, according to M/Cpl. Michel Eckerd.
Eckard said while at the scene, officers discovered that one subject had suffered a gunshot wound. This subject was pronounced dead by responding medical units, according to Eckard.
Detectives from the New Castle County Police Criminal investigations Unit arrived on scene and have assumed the investigation.
