Newark – Just after 12:30 this afternoon firefighters from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, along with officers from the Newark Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Lafayette Road for reports of a car on fire.
Crews arrived to find a fully involved passenger car in the driveway of the residence. Firefighters quickly attacked the fire knocking it down within just a few minutes.
No injuries were reported.
