Wilmington Man Stabbed In Neck, Abdomen In Critical Condition

Wilmington – On Saturday, 13 January 2018, at approximately 11:02 am, Wilmington Police (WPD) were summoned to the 700 block of Warner Street reference a stabbing, according to WPD.

Officials said upon the officers arrival they located a 37-year-old male suffering from stab wounds to his neck and abdomen areas.

The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County paramedics, then he was transported via ambulance to Christiana Hospital where he currently listed in critical condition. Initial reports that indicated the patient would be transported by air were incorrect.

The victim indicated that the incident occurred on Sycamore Street.

Wilmington Police are currently investigating a stabbing, which occurred in the 700 block of Warner Street, at approximately 11:00 am.

Wilmington – Wilmington Police, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) are responding to Warner Street for reports a stabbing.

Arriving medics have alerted Trooper 4 that they will be utilized for transport.
