Heavy Police Response To Suspicious Man Falling Through Roof Of Local Business, Badly Injured

Wilmington –  At approximately 6:00 last night New Castle County Police, along Delaware State Police received information that a suspicious person was on the roof of a business in the unit block of Meco Circle.

The caller told authorities that after seeing someone run across the roof of the building they heard a loud crashing noise. As a large number of officers converged on the business the caller alerted dispatch that they found a large hole in the roof of the building

Officers arriving on scene discovered a man badly injured from a long fall, inside the building.  The officers immediately called for medics from the New Castle County Paramedics, along with EMTs from the Minquas Fire Company to respond.

Medics could be observed treating the patient inside the building before he was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be very serious injuries.

Authorities did not indicate if the man was associated with the business or if he would face charges as a result of the incident.
