Quick Thinking Employees Lock Suspect Inside Trailer

Wilmington – Earlier this morning Delaware State Troopers were called to a business in the 3000 block of Governor Printz Blvd. for reports of a burglary/theft in progress.

Responding Troopers learned that the suspect was inside a trailer and that employees of the business closed the doors and locked him inside. No further information is available at this time.

Troopers were called to this same business recently for reports of a man climbing the fence to gain access to the property. Not much is known about that incident either.

We’ll update this story as more information becomes available.

Unlike other news organizations, First State Update hasn’t put up a paywall. We want to provide the news to as many readers as possible.

Our readership has grown far beyond our greatest expectations in such a short period of time.

In less than two years we have become one of Delaware most popular and  trusted news sources.

To keep this thing firing on all cylinders we need to do some serious updates and upgrades to our equipment.

That takes cash. Digital advertising revenue has declined in recent years as advertisers have begun to pay less for advertising and readers have begun using adblocker software.

Rather than promote ads that don’t get clicked on we are increasingly removing ads in favor of reader funded support.

If just a fraction of First State Update’s readers pitched in a couple of bucks we would be set for a while. You can support First State Update for as little as $1.
