Wilmington – Just after 1:30 this afternoon rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) responded to the intersection of Millcreek Road and Newport Gap Pike for reports of an accident with multiple injuries.
Early reports from the scene indicate that one driver took an impact to the driver side door. That patient, along with a patient from the second vehicle have both been transported via ground ambulance to Christiana Hospital.
A third patient was flown to the Christiana Hospital trauma center via Trooper 4, with a trauma alert called.
