Newark – At approximately 10:30 this morning firefighters from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder responded to the 1000 block of Elkton Road for reports of a van on fire.
Responding crews found what is believed to be a daycare passenger van with heavy fire coming from the engine compartment.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire within minutes. No injuries were reported.
