Motorcycle Accident On I-495 Sends Rider To Hospital

At approximately 6:10 last evening, New Castle County Paramedics, Minquadale and Minquas Fire Companies were dispatched to the area of Interstate 495 Southbound near the Route 141 exit ramps for a motorcycle crash, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, 33-year-old male, in care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from the Minquadale Fire Company.

The patient suffered body wide abrasions. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Minquadale Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
