Stanton – At approximately 3:30 on Sunday afternoon Delaware State Troopers responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Route 7 for reports a fight in the middle of the road.

Responding Troopers were told by dispatchers that witnesses were reporting that two men were fighting in the roadway, one tearing his clothes off as he ran from a van. Additional callers reported that there may be a handgun involved.

Arriving Troopers, taking no chances, drew their firearms as they approached the subjects.

As the Troopers approached the subjects they found one of the men, a confused 39-year-old Duane Neal setting in his underpants, according to court records. No weapon was found at the scene.

Neal was transported to the hospital after telling Troopers that he had used PCP, according to the records.

Neal was later committed to the Howard R Young Correctional Institution, where he is currently being held. He was charged with his fourth DUI, according to court records.
