Newark – Rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with Newark Police Officers have responded to the intersection of Route 896 (South College Ave.) and West Chestnut Hill Road for reports of an injury accident.
Arriving crews have found two vehicles involved in a head-on collision, with at least one person injured.
Ambulance crews are currently evaluating one patient on scene.
Parts of the intersection are currently blocked by the vehicles.
