Just In: Two To Trauma After Motorcycle Hit By Car In Wilmington

Rescue crews from the Wilmington Fire Department, along with Wilmington Police are currently on the scene of  a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in Wilmington.

Just after 12:00 this afternoon, Sunday, June 3, 2018, crews were dispatched to the intersection of West 4th Street and Delamore Place.

Upon arrival, crews found a motorcycle on the ground , with two people injured.

Initial reports indicate that both patients, a male and a female, were thrown from the bike after being struck by a vehicle.

Both patients have been transported to the hospital with a trauma alert, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics.

Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation), originally dispatched to the scene, was recalled.
