Several Thefts At Firefly Festival, Police Warn Fans To Be Mindful Of Their Surroundings

The Dover Police Department has issued a warning to Firefly Music Festival fans regarding their cell phones.

At approximately 11:45 last evening, Dover Police posted a statement on their Facebook page detailing recent thefts of cell phones at the event.

The statement read “We have had several reports of subjects pickpocketing cell phones or just stealing them while fans have them out filming shows. Phones have been stolen from victims hands, pockets, and purses. We are working to identify and locate the suspects at this time. Please be mindful of your surroundings, keep your belongings close to you at all times.”
