Happening Now: Vehicle Has Crashed Into The Woods On I-95 In Newark, One Reportedly Trapped

Newark – Rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with crews from the Christiana Fire Company, Delaware State Police and Trooper 4 are responding to I-95 SB about a mile south of the service center for an injury accident.

A Trooper who witnessed the accident is on the scene reporting that at least one patient is trapped in a vehicle that has left the roadway and is into the woods.

Update: Trooper 4 was been recalled shortly after rescue crews arrived on scene. The patient was removed from the vehicle and is being transported to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
