Two Injured In Talleyville Crash On Sunday

Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 1:50, New Castle County Paramedics and personnel from the Talleyville and Claymont Fire Companies were dispatched to the intersection Rocky Run Parkway and Woodlawn Road, for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic Senior Corporal David McKinney, Jr.

McKinney said arriving County Paramedics found a multiple vehicle crash. The patient, a 27-year-old female was evaluated on scene for injuries to the hand, back, abdomen, and chest. She was transported to the Emergency Department at Wilmington Hospital on board an ambulance from the Claymont Fire Company, accompanied by a New Castle County Paramedic. One other patient was evaluated on scene by County Paramedics for minor injuries and was transported to Chester County Hospital on board another ambulance from the Claymont Fire Company. Both patients were stable at the time of transport.

New Castle County Police and Delaware State Troopers were on scene and are investigating the crash.
