Teen In Serious Condition After Being Struck By Vehicle

At approximately 6:20 yesterday evening, New Castle County Paramedics and Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Buckley Boulevard and Douglas Drive in Bear for a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, a 17-year-old male, in care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered had injuries to his head. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via Christiana Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
