Update: Woman Reportedly Takes To Facebook After Stabbing Near Elsmere

Just after 11:30 this morning New Castle County Police and rescue crews from the New Castle County Paramedics responded to a home in the 2700 block of Frederick Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

We’re hearing reports that the bloodied victim took to Facebook to explain what had occurred. Viewers of the video reportedly urged the woman to call the police and an ambulance, according to one of the viewers.

We have viewed screenshots from the video, however, we cannot confirm that the person on the video is the victim from this incident. In the video, the woman indicated that this may be a domestic-related incident, according to the viewer. Police have not confirmed this at this time.

The woman was transported with the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital where she is undergoing treatment.

Frederick Avenue is just west of the Elsmere BJ Wholesale Club.

This is a developing story.
