Newark: Rescue crews From Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, New Castle County Paramedics, Trooper 4 and Delaware State Police are responding to Otts Chapel Road and Old Baltimore Pike for reports of a crash involving a motorcycle.
The helicopter has been recalled and the rider is en route to the trauma center at Christiana Hospital.
Early reports from the scene indicate that a vehicle and motorcycle were involved in the accident, however, the motorcycle was not struck by the vehicle.
