Plan Ahead, Additional Repairs On St. Georges Bridge To Begin Next Week

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Philadelphia District and its contractor Freyssinet, Inc. will be completing repairs to the St. Georges Bridge later this month.

[ms-protect-content id=”35525,36371,36374,36464,36481″]Work will be conducted from Monday, April 29 through Saturday, May 4 during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Both lanes of the bridge will remain open during the project, however, a lane shift through the bike lane will be enacted. Flaggers will be on hand to halt vehicular traffic to allow bicyclists safe passage when necessary.
