Townsend – At 11:21 this morning rescue crews from the Odessa and Townsend Fire Companies, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police responded to Dupont Parkway for reports of a vehicle crash involving multiple patients.
Upon arrival, crews found a three-vehicle accident with one subject trapped. Crews worked for about 10 minutes to free the patient.
That patient is en route to Christiana Hospital via ground ambulance.
One person was evaluated at the scene and declined treatment.
It’s not clear if anyone was injured in the third vehicle.
