Crews Dispatched To Reports Of Simultaneous Motorcycle Accidents

Just after 5:45 this morning rescue crews responded to reports of two separate vehicle accidents, both reportedly involving a motorcycle.

Crews from the Christiana Fire Company that reponed to Route 40 at Sunset Lake Road, near Fox Run Shopping Center,  cleared all incoming medics and Trooper 4, upon their arrival.

A view from the DelDOT traffic camera showed what appeared to be a bicycle, not a motorcycle.  Troopers cleared that accident within minutes.

At the same time, crews from the Goodwill Fire and Wilmington Manor Fire Companies responded to Boulden Blvd in New Castle for a second crash involving a motorcycle.

Upon their arrival,  crews requested area Fire Police for traffic control. Trooper 4, diverted to this accident, was recalled along with all incoming crews.

It’s unclear if anyone was transported to the hospital from either accident.
