Just In: Crash Sends Tree Trimming Truck Into Mill Creek Ambulance

Just after 9:00 this morning a passenger vehicle collided with a tree trimming truck at Route 2 and Harmony Road.

The impact of the crash forced the passenger vehicle off the roadway into the grass. The tree trimming truck was forced across the median into a Mill Creek Fire Company Ambulance that was waiting at the light.

No injuries were reported for the occupants of the tree trimming truck or the passenger vehicle.

The ambulance received only minor damage and no injuries were reported for the crew.

The patient that was in the ambulance at the time of the crash was transported to the hospital by a replacement ambulance.

The eastbound lanes of Route 2 were closed for about an hour while Troopers investigated.
