Moving Truck Crashes Into Train Bridge In Newark

Newark – Just before 11:00 this morning rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with Newark Police responded to Casho Mill Road at the train bridge for a high-velocity crash with injuries.

Upon arrival, crews reported that a U-Haul truck had struck the bridge and that the airbags were deployed.

All incoming medics and Trooper 4 were recalled shortly after the first crews arrived on scene.

It’s believed that the driver was transported to the hospital.

Newark Police are working to clear the road
