Newark – At 8:43 this evening, rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder and the Christiana Fire Company, along with Trooper 4 were dispatched to Route 896 at Glasgow Avenue for reports of a motor vehicle accident with multiple injuries and entrapment reported.
At 8:58 p, Aetna Chief Andrew Bowerson reported that the patient had been extracted and ordered Route 896 shut down.
Tropper 4 is en route and will be utilized.
Update: Crews are reporting that the vehicle went off the road into the woods and the patient suffered serious injuries.
