Police Have Surrounded A Wilmington Home For Much Of The Day, Details Few

Wilmington Police have surrounded a home on 35th Street near Tatnell Street.

Just after 8:30 this morning police officer responded to the home and have been on scene since.

Officials are not releasing much information regarding the incident, saying only that they will share further details as soon as they are able.

“There is police activity in the 100 block of West 35th Street related to an active investigation”, said Wilmington Police Spokesman David Karas.

At this time the investigation is contained to a residence in that block, and there is no threat to the general public, added Karas.
