El Paso police are reporting that there is an active shooter situation near Hawkins and Gateway East and the Cielo Vista Mall.
Police are saying there may be multiple shooters.
Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick reported that the shooter, 1 21-year-old male had been taken into custody. Patrick has also reported that there are 15 to 20 victims.
The incident commander on scene reported that they had a total of 12 to 15 patients. It’s not clear how many have been shot.
