Middletown Crash Sends One To Hospital Friday Night

Middletown – Just after 8:00 Friday evening August 9, 2019, rescue crews from the Odessa and Delaware City Fire Companies along with NCC Medics and Delaware State Police were dispatched to Dupont Parkway at Boyds Corner Road for an injury accident.

While en route crews learned that the driver of a vehicle was reported unconscious.

As crews responded to the scene Good Sarmatians stopped to assist and to direct traffic around the accident.

Shortly after their arrival crews reported that the driver had been extricated from the vehicle and was being transported to the Christina Hospital. It’s not clear what injuries the driver suffered at this time.

DelDOT crews also responded to the scene to repair a mangled guardrail in the WAWA parking lot.
