Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 10:56 p.m. on Tuesday at 23rd and Lamotte Streets.
Police located a 29-year-old female gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

Breaking Report
Wilmington – Just before 11:00 last evening rescue crews from the Wilmington Fire Department along with medics and Wilmington Police Officers responded to 23rd Street and Lamotte Street for reports of a shooting.
While en route crews learned that a woman in her late 20’s had been shot in the arm.
The woman was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
