Boy, 16, Shot On N Market Street In Wilmington Saturday

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 5:07 p.m. in the 3800 block of North Market Street.

Police located a 16-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

Wilmington – Rescue crews from Saint Francis Healthcare EMS, New Castle County Medics, Wilmington Fire and Life Net have been dispatched to the area of the Rite Aid at 3801 N Market Street in Wilmington for reports of a shooting.

Saint Francis Healthcare EMS’ PA-3 is transporting the patient to a local trauma center with New Castle County Medics accompanying.

Life-Net has been recalled.
