Newport – Just after 9:15 this morning, Monday, December 23, 2019, rescue crews from the Minquas Fire Company along with New Castle County Medics and New Castle County Police responded to the 300 block of Delaware Avenue for reports of a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
Early reports from the scene indicate that an elderly driver lost control of their vehicle and hit a parked car, causing it to roll onto its side.
The patient was extricated from the vehicle after several minutes and was then transported to Christiana Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
