Two Accidents Involving School Buses Monday Morning

Just after 7:00 on Monday morning, rescue crews from the Five Points and Minquas Fire Companies, along with County Medics and Delaware State Police responded to the 300 block of Maryland Avenue for reports of an accident involving a Dickenson High School bus.

Initial reports from the scene indicated that one person on the bus received minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

A little more than an hour later, at 8:17, rescue crews responded to South Broom Street at Linden Street for reports a second crash involving a school bus.  Wilmington Police spokesman David Karas said that officers are still investigating the accident, adding he was not aware of any injuries.
