Just before 9:30 Thursday morning rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder along with Newark Police responded to Route 896 (South College Avenue) in the area of the UD Field House for a motor vehicle crash.
Shortly after their arrival crews place the scene under control while asking the ambulance to continue their response.
The accident blocked one of the northbound lanes for around 40 minutes while crews evaluated patients and police investigated the crash.
It’s not clear if any patients were transported to the hospital.
