Happening Now: Food Delivery Truck Rollover In Newark

Just after 11:30 Wednesday morning rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police responded to South Chapel Street for reports of a rollover crash.

Upon their arrival crews found a Schwann grocery delivery truck on its side and a minivan with heavy damage to the frontend.

County medics cleared the scene shortly after arrival, however, at least one person was being evaluated in the ambulance at the scene.

NB S Chapel Street is currently closed in the area of BJ’s Wholesale Club.
