Just after 1:00 this afternoon firefighters from the Five Points Fire Company responded to Boxwood Road near the Conrad School For Science for reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, crews alerted Trooper 4, already en route to the crash, that they would be utilized for transport to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital.
The patient was treated at the scene before being flown to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
Boxwood Road was closed for an extended period of time while County Police investigated the crash.
